Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
